Water for People Installs New Logic Integration AV Technologies to Expand Projects in Developing Countries
New communications technologies easily connect people located in remote locations around the world
Logic Integration Inc., designer of audio visual (AV) systems and CEDIA member, recently installed new audio and video technologies throughout the meeting spaces at the Water for People headquarters located in Denver.
The new AV system will help broaden the reach of the organization’s mission to improve quality of life in developing communities by supporting locally sustainable drinking water resources, sanitation facilities and hygiene education programs in Africa, Asia, Central America and South America.
“Reliable communication technologies can mean the difference between life and death for many of these communities,” said Shawn Hansson, founder and CEO of Logic Integration. “Equipping Water for People’s employees with the ability to visualize the communities they serve will have a lasting impact. This project was a success because we were able to work with the best equipment vendors in the business and we strongly believe in the goals of Water for People .”
The robust communications technologies installed will provide the nonprofit’s employees with an effective way to initiate communication with locally based entrepreneurs, government officials and team members around the world. Logic Integration focused on installing a system for the organization’s unique needs, which include the ability to reach remote environments and connect multiple people at once from different locations.
Water for People’s unique, collaborative office space compelled Logic Integration’s technicians to think “outside the box” while designing and installing the AV system. The integrator incorporated an array of leading technologies and solutions from different vendors to build the system, including:
- Total user control of all AV technologies in every meeting room through tablet and laptop devices;
- Energy management technologies allowing lighting control and occupancy sensors;
- Full room microphone systems with video conferencing interface for optimal audio;
- Seven televisions with LED displays to view project work.
Logic Integration and Water for People will co-host an evening event during the CEDIA Expo on Tuesday, September 24 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Water for People headquarters located at 100 E. Tennessee Ave., Denver, CO, 80209. Attendees of the event will view the installed communications technologies and learn more about water deprivation in developing communities.
